The FBI's Kansas City Field Office is seeking information regarding the robbery of the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant located at 3920 Southwest 21st Street Topeka, Kansas, on the evening of August 19, 2025. The unknown suspect entered the business on foot, armed with a handgun, and demanded money from the employees. He spoke both English and Spanish, and violently assaulted at least one of the employees by pistol-whipping that individual multiple times in the head. He was last seen fleeing away from the business on foot to the north. The suspect is described as an adult male with a medium complexion, approximately 6'0” to 6'2” and 150 pounds, with bright blue-green eyes. He was wearing khaki pants, black dress shoes, light gray gloves, a gray hoodie, a ball cap, and a full ski-mask. He was carrying a black/chrome handgun.
Reward
The FBI is offering a reward of $3,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual responsible for this robbery.
