The Federal Bureau of Investigation's Chicago Field Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives in Chicago, Illinois, are seeking the public's assistance with information regarding those responsible for the two assaults on federal officers and damage to government property on October 4, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. At approximately 10:30 a.m., multiple vehicles were allegedly involved in impeding and attempting to box in U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in a vehicle chase in the 3900 block of S. Kedzie, Chicago, Illinois. The drivers of two of the vehicles have been apprehended. At approximately 12:00 p.m., a black Chevy Tahoe, Illinois license plate EM 62829, allegedly rammed a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle repeatedly in the 3700 block of S. Kedzie, Chicago, Illinois. The driver of the Tahoe is currently at-large. The public is encouraged to share any personal videos or photographs of the incidents to www.fbi.gov/chicagoafo
Reward
The FBI and ATF are offering a combined reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who aided, abetted, or conspired, whether through funding, coordination, planning, or other means, in the two incidents.
