The FBI's Springfield Field Office in Illinois is seeking information from the public regarding the death of 9-year-old Cash Russell. On October 9, 2025, law enforcement officials with the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office in Illinois responded to a shooting at a residence on Hoover Avenue in Springfield, Illinois. Three individuals were found deceased at the residence including Cash Russell.
Reward
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the death of Cash Russell.
