Details

The Federal Bureau of Investigation's St. Louis Field Office and the Clayton Police Department in Missouri, are seeking information about an unknown suspect involved in a hate crime. On August 5, 2025, Clayton police responded to a call for service for three vehicle fires outside a residence in the 7500 block of Westmoreland Avenue in Clayton, Missouri.  A surveillance camera recorded video of an unknown suspect at the location after midnight.  The person was wearing a white top.  He then left and returned wearing a dark hoodie.  Video showed the person setting fire to two of the vehicles.  The third vehicle was not in view of the camera.  As the vehicles started burning, the suspect spray-painted graffiti in the middle of the road near one of the vehicles.  He then ran westbound on Westmoreland Avenue and fled the scene.

Reward

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect.
