On January 15, 1991, Sandra Carrera was found deceased in her townhome, in the Windgate neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia, at the bottom of her stairs. Carrera’s cause of death was a gunshot wound, and her case was ruled a homicide. Nothing in the home appeared to have been disturbed, and nothing was taken.
