The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Baltimore, Maryland, and the Montgomery County Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for the vandalism at the Shaare Tefila Synagogue, located at 16620 Georgia Avenue in Olney, Maryland. Between the evening of February 9, 2026, and the morning of February 10, 2026, the Synagogue's main sign and two banners advertising support for Israel were defaced with anti-semitic graffiti, which included a swastika and the phrase "AZAB."
Reward
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, or conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the vandalism.
